Management, finance and strategies of companies in Europe

A combination of theory and practice

In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, financial and tax engineering, and investment and development strategy.
The Master’s degree “Management and strategies of companies in Europe” can be taken by students from the first year of the Master’s programme (M1 – Semester 8), which is recommended in order to benefit from the European orientation of the entire programme and to acquire the prerequisites for access to M2.

Direct access to M2 is also provided for students with another M1 or an equivalent French or foreign degree, especially for those who already have the prerequisites in economics and management. The CEU also offers double degree agreements in management with Slovak universities (Bratislava and Banska Bystrica) and the École des Hautes Études Économiques et Commerciales in Marrakech.

Description of the courses
In the first semester of the M1, students are taught European economic and financial, legal and geopolitical issues. In the second semester of the M1, students receive multidisciplinary teaching in management sciences (corporate finance, financial economics, corporate governance, marketing, human resources management, etc.) in a European and international environment.
In M2, students are taught financial management, international business development and financing, European company strategies and European regulations, through several themes (more details in the curriculum):
  • International business development and financing
  • Financial diagnosis and management of international companies
  • Strategy of international groups of companies
  • Regulations and taxation
In addition, the training given in M2 (and in M1) includes foreign language teaching in accordance with the international nature of the training and the professional integration of the student. Some courses will also be taught in English.

On the basis of teaching that combines theory and practice, students will be able to acquire in-depth knowledge in financial analysis, financial and tax engineering, and investment and development strategy. They will also be able to mobilise knowledge in different areas of management science through concrete case studies; they will also have to demonstrate the operational nature of their knowledge and reinforce it through the internship (6 months maximum) that they will carry out in the 2nd semester of M2.
