5th Study Day of the TIIF ASP
“Banks, Finance, and Territories”
The Priority Scientific Axis (ASP) “Territory, Information, and Financial Industry” (TIIF) of CEREFIGE aims to study actors in financial and banking markets within a dynamic territorial, organizational, and institutional environment.
Within this framework, the TIIF ASP is organizing a study day on the theme:
“Banks, Finance, and Territories.”
During the morning session, the goal of this study day will be to create research “dynamics” (by presenting unfinished articles), lay the first foundations for interdisciplinary research, facilitate discussions among researchers in a studious and friendly atmosphere, and stimulate the emergence of new research projects.
In the afternoon session, three books (related to the theme of the day) will be presented to a broader audience to disseminate progress and reflections in finance, considering the changing structural and conjunctural context.
From a multidisciplinary perspective, this event aims to shed light on recent changes and interactions between finance, banks, and territories. It examines various actors such as investment and financing banks, retail banks, cooperative banks, credit intermediaries, the European Central Bank, etc. New “connections” to territories, associated with market opportunities, are emerging to address social and societal innovations, digitization, new governance practices, “green” management tools, and instability factors.
This scientific event is supported by CEU.
