Yves Petit
Director of the CEU and Head of the European Union Law Programme
Yves Petit is a professor of public law at the Faculty of Law in Nancy (University of Lorraine). He teaches European Union law in its institutional and material dimensions. His numerous research works focus on European institutions, European Union policies, and the jurisprudence of the Court of Justice of the European Union, as well as environmental law.
Since 2016, he has been the Director of the Centre europĂ©en universitaire in Nancy. He is in charge of the Master’s program “European and International Studies” and the specialization “European Union Law” at the Centre europĂ©en universitaire. He is a member of the Bureau du Laboratoire de recherche de Droit public et de science politique of the University of Lorraine, IRENEE (Institut de recherche sur l’évolution de la nation et de l’État IRENEE).
